TRoublesooting wizard won't run

I have a Dell Studio 1557, with Windows 7 ultimate.
My blue tooth quit being able to connect to the wifi even though it can detect the signal. It can detect and work with other devices.
When I try to run the window trouble shooting wizard to look at the wireless connection problem I get the Error code "0x80070002"
I today I tried to connect a Protronix USB wireless adapter so I could use my wifi again and the program installs but will not run.
My computer detects the dongle after I install the program but will not run. I have removed the program and reinstalled it twice, still not working.
I tried one of the Error code fixes where you go into the Windows features and unchecked the Microsoft NET framework 3.5.1, rebooted, then checked it again, then rebooted and this did not get rid of the error message.

I feel like the Wireless network problem and the Trouble shooting wizard problem happened about the same time.
But I am no computer geek.

Any ideas?
