Regards to all, this is my first posting and I believe that you will be gentle to me. I am looking for a tool/software that can manage my system registry files. I know that I can get them online but I need to try them before I actually use them so that I can be sure of the results. I have read lot's of reviews and found out that currently, the best registry cleaner on the market is Digeus Registry Cleaner.

Any suggestions????

I usually use CCleaner as well but I'm not sure about the compatibility for windows 7. I would also suggest glary utilities http://download.cnet.com/Glary-Uti [...] 08531.html .

I haven't tested on windows 7 so you may want to investigate it 1st. Badge has the most likely candidate for compatibility...

As of v2.21.940

- Improved Windows 7 support.

and as of latest version v2.22.968

- Improved User assist cleaning in Windows 7.

It supports Windows 7. But still undergoing continuous improvements.

Interesting although I don't know the benefit of doing that would be...

I use a combination of two different registry cleaners, both are freeware. The first has already been mentioned and that is CCleaner, also works well for cookie removal. The other is Abexo, performs a slightly deeper registry scan and detects a few things that CCleaner may not pick up. Good luck with your search.

I use system mechanic.

My advice, stay away from them, period.
Fastest way ever conceived to really foul up your Windows installation. If you have problems big enough that you need to use a registry cleaner, you have problems that are best fixed by a fresh OS install. It's a huge pain I know, but after most people use these cleaners, they find that things get so fouled up, they end up doing a fresh install anyway.
Just my 2 cents, you all do what you want. Don't say I didn't warn you though.
