Can this cpu be run in dual mode and if it can does anyone know of a really good motherboard to use?

if you find a mobo, then yes, but you wont see a big performace boost. maybe from 3-9%.

There aren't any dual P4 mobos. Asus was said to have one in the works, but Asus and Intel were quick to dispel that rumor.

maybe because there wouldn't be much boost no? it better to go with a cpu thats made for dual operation.

No, because Intel doesn't want people to be able to just get normal P4s instead of buying the overpriced Xeon :tongue:

actually i have a dual p4 (non xeon) mobo i can sell you. and since i'm nice, i can get you a good deal on ocean-front property in kansas, that way you can enjoy your new comp with a great view to go along with it :D
