It should last around 3-5hrs depending on the usage.
But if you don't want it,then consider XPS 15.It'll probably cost more but offers up to
6-7hrs of battery

Battery life will depend on what you are doing at any given moment, if you are doing some heavy CPU intensive task, the battery will drain quickly. If however, you are simply surfing the web or doing emails etc. It will last longer, e.g. my Q2630 based notebook with HD 6770 lasts for well over 4 hours when I am doing normal less CPU/GPU intensive tasks, but if I am playing a game (e.g. TF2) with high performance profile, the battery lasts few minutes shy of 1 hour.
