Its not an Antec, its a CHIEFTEC Server Chasis (Workstation Tower) Model DX-01WD. Its suppose to be a Antec look-a-like. Anyone know anything about this company?

I have one, got it (in the UK) from komplett (not that i nor any member of my family is associated in any way blah blah), and ITS GREAT!!
I had thought, until toms article, that i had one of the best kept secrets. Oh well. The case actually feels to me like more of a hardened plastic outside, but is metal inside, but with all the changes and pokes and prods i've done over the last couple of months, no cuts or bruises yet (anyone here believe in fate?). I like it. Lots.
Cost me 80 pounds, and i reckon it will last me longer than any other component, so i love it!

PS I do have other interests, honest!

coolest case ever bottom line is Voodoo's F-Class. No im not prasing them again. its just the coolest looking case ive ever laid eyes on. www.voodoopc.com click on F-class to see.

You won't believe what I found. <A HREF="http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=manufactory&catalog=7&manufactory=1333&DEPA=1" target="_new">The same case</A>, minus the ass-raping.

You could take it to a car painter and they'd do it for less than a Voodoo system costs.

It's a nice case, I have it in the white color. However, shortly after I bought it, Antec came out with their 1080, and it is even better <A HREF="http://www.newegg.com/app/Showimage.asp?image=11-129-111-01.JPG/11-129-111-02.JPG/11-129-111-03.JPG/11-129-111-04.JPG/11-129-111-05.JPG/11-129-111-06.JPG/11-129-111-07.JPG/11-129-111-08.JPG/11-129-111-09.JPG/11-129-111-10.JPG" target="_new">CHECK IT OUT HERE</A>....more power, a side fan, AND it has USB and Firewire ports on the front of the box, built in. This case costs about $35 more (from EMS Computing in FL), and I would say it seems well worth it. My buddy got one and LOVES it. Good luck.

and no offense rickd59, but filing cabinets are butt-ass ugly, especially for a system case and something someone with too much time on his hands came up with, not to mention having everything in there half-ass. i'll go with a box that was specifically DESIGNED for computer components, thank you. that yy cube, personally i think is sweet looking.

I have something alot like that from antec... I got 5 spots for 80mm fans that I use and that helps out with temperature and dont you love the little handle thingy to open the side lol I love that thing =)

i think that YY cube is a kick a$$ case!!
and i am going to check out that site, as i am thinking about a new case...the one i have now is a bit small...
and they seem to have decent prices.
but might still buy from newegg! :wink:
but the yy cube...i have seen similar, if not the same at stores near me, and i always drool at it, because of the modding possibilities!!!
