Playing music out of laptop speakers and external speakers

So pretty much the stereo we have at our house is pretty lacking, and the treble on my laptop is actually a bit louder, I currently have a dell xps L502X, but the base on our stereo is still louder, so pretty much i was wondering if it's possible to have my laptop speaker play concurrently with my external speakers.

you will still have to use one of those cheapo usb s/cards to output to your speaker since I don't think you'll be able to get around the h/phone jack switch, but this program will allow you to send same stream to two devices. Good luck!
