More Information

Hi, i am havin a problem with your game "American Mcgee's Alice" the first time
i installed it it went through the prosess until it asked for the second disk so
i put it in but then my computer froze. So i restarted. (so i restarted when i
only installed disk 1! this is the source of the problem!) When i got back in
windows i thought i might try playing the game even though its not fully
installed. so i opened it and it game up with the games logo but just stayed
there with nothing else happening. I tried again but this time i got a message
sayin "could'nt load default.cfg" So i thought im goin to have to re-install,i
put the disk in an clicked on Repair.."Re-install all program components
installed by the previous step".. it didnt ask for the key this time (because
the program was already on) it finished in about 1 nanosecond, plus it didnt ask
for the 2nd disk which ment that it coudnlt of installed correctly. But i tried
it, same things where happining like before. Now i tried Uinstalling then
re-installing. So i went into Add/Remove programs but it woudent remove from
there so i did it from the start menu which also finshed in about 2 nanoseconds.
which i was curious about. I then opened Program Files to check if it had
deleted the folder, and it had (or did it even install it?) After that i opened
the disk to Install it, i noticed the "Uninstall Alice was unclickable" ..... i
clicked "Install Alice" then it came up with a screen that said the following
heading....
Modify,Repair or Remove. This told me that somewhere on my pc it was picking up
alice still, i tried to see if clicking "Remove" would make a difference, but no
still took aobut 1 nanosecond and came up with the same screen. So this ment i
cannot make a clean installion, which i think i need too do, if i dont what do i
do? and how? If i do need a clean installion how can i get rid of alice
COMEPLETELY so that it wont pick it up?
