Making Win 7 file explorer act like XP

There are several really aggravating things about this Windows 7 file explorer. Example. I cannot seem to make file explorer display file detail for sound files. It seems to be displaying them in sort of media player mode.

Is there any way to make the Windows 7 file explorer act exactly like XP? XP (and 2000) had the best file explorer of any windows version, IMO.

Under sort and group, you have an option called more to allow you to change the sort style(Things like sort by data modified for instance.).

I think I found out how to change the optimization back to general. So one more Windows 7 bug fixed.

Please explain what you did, and why you did it for future users please.

The only thing 7 did that bugged me was sort audio/video folders differently by default, but I was always able to change it to sort by data modified(my personal sort preference.).

Info for audio files is displayed at the bottom of the window. The larger you have the window the more info is displayed. The media player mode as you called it is with the folder set to preview mode. Here, pics with and without the preview enabled.
