P4 2.0A or Xeon 2.0A

I plan to setup a new system for my video editing. Do you guys have any suggestion between P4 2.0A and P4 Xeon 2.0A?

Bigger cache == faster processing == more $$.
Your money == your call.

Personally, I'd spend the difference on faster disk systems and such.

I dont think the extra cache on the XEON will get you very much over the 2.0A. Save the money and invest it into a better video card and/or larger raid.

Agreed. Better hard drive speed will help more than a video card for video editing, though. A pair of IBM 120GXPs in RAID 0 might be the best option for price/performance/size.

I would get a 1.8a and overclock to 2.4 personally, 2.0a chips are not a good value imo.
