sure, but check first if your motherboard supports them.
also you'll be needing 64bit OS to address more than 4GB.

Pretty clear his board or OS doesn't support it since he's asking about bypassing the limit. Since 16GB is pointless in a normal system it's kind of irrelevant.

well, I like to be sure on that especially since op doesn't seem like he's a native english speaker :o )
