Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a new laptop but it's pretty hard to decide which laptop I'm going to buy.
Unlike desktop (hardware) it's pretty hard to choose because there's less benchmarks available to compare.
My budget is around 800 dollar but preferable lower then that.
I'm going to play a bit of simple videogames on it but I want to use it mainly for Linux Backtrack (pen testing).
So a nice videocard would be nice but also good support for the NIC.
I want atleast a 15.6" screen, 4 gigs of memory and a duel core processor.
It would be nice if anyone can suggest a laptop, link me to a website where I can compare good laptops (objectively) or suggest which brand I should be aiming for.

Greetings,
Qwertyrules

Hello qwertyrules;
Your budget is clear but that bit about video games and a 'nice video card' isn't clear at all.

Need more guidance on your gaming expectations for the new laptop.

Hello WR2,

Thanks for your reply :)
I'm not expecting to play crysis or something like that.
I'ts more going to be less demanding games like Heroes of Newearth, Counter-strike, League of Legends, Starcraft 2 and maybe a MMORPG.
So I don't want to play with an onboard video card or something like that but I don't need the high end stuff either.
I hope this is enough information for you.

Greetings,
qwertyrules

Edit: I don't need to play those games on High resolution / max quality either. I just want atleast 60 FPS, with low - medium settings.

This should be close to what you need to meet your gaming goals.
