I tried to upgrade firmware for my Kingston SSD HyperX 3k but neither tools or firmware software from Kingston see the drive...message is no sandforce drives found. Windows recognizes the drive and BIOS too. If though all this talk about fast with SSD is real, then I must be doing something wrong...My RAID Array with my Barracudas are doing just as well as the SSD. But I also read someone fixed the problems with the blue screens doing chkdsk with errors on my New Drive with Firmware upgrade. Can someone possibly help me upgrading this Drive to latest Firmware that I have?

Before I applied any updates/tools for my HyperX 3K SSD, i just glanced at the FAQ's in http://www.kingston.com/us/support/technical/products?model=SV300S3. As I had reviewed this guide before I applied patch for my SSD, may be I did not face this issue. I see the issue you are stating in this FAQ (last one). This will really help. All the best ;)
