Hey. Yes i am an absolute newbie with linux, but i just can't get X to boot up. I get the error 'no screen'. This is to do with my graphics card i presume, but i don't know how to get the drivers which i've burnt to a CD installed onto linux, can someone help?
haha. I've finally got X to work, after alter the drivers, but its using VESA :\. Also, i can't install .rpm drivers, as they're for red hat.. Or is there someway i am able to convert them to the .tar.gz ?
