Xh5096 driver free windows 7

I have recently purchased a new computer running on Windows 7.

I have a DSE internet camera and microphone Model XH5096 which does not appear to be compatible.

I am new to this and I believe that the driver needs to be updated.

If this is right, is there any way that I can download a new suitable driver - preferably a free one or do I have to purchase a new webcam etc?

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Go the manufacturer's website of the product or device you need Windows 7 drivers for. All drivers from all manufacturers are free.

If a manufacturer does not have Windows 7 drivers for your device, you will have to replace it with a new one.

phil22. Many thanks for your suggestion. I will do that now.
Just need to check out all options before having to buy a new webcam. Seems such a waste of money when my current webcam is o.k. except for a current updated driver.
