My laptop won copy and paste and i am using windows 7 professional

My laptop won't copy and paste large files and folders like if I want to copy a movie from an external drive,it is not possible. What can I do to fix this problem.

What format is the drive? I'm guessing FAT32? Files larger than 4GB need to be NTFS

unistall the tere copy,or skype or anything other which you think it may cause effect to your laptop (in my case it was workin while unistalling the tera copy and then restart)
