ACER Netbook

my acer espire one 722 netbook crashed and when I try to reboot get the response:
check cable connection
no bootable device

there is not dvd drive and I don't have a restore disk
is it possible to download such to a thumbdrive
or what other possibilities is there??

Assuming the hard drive has not failed (which is a real possibility) there should be a hidden "factory recovery" partition on it. To start factory recovery, read this:

Tried all suggestions - same reply. Will contact acer, looks like maybe the HDD
Is bad. Thanks for your help.
