Can anyone shed some light on this problem.

I have a mitac 8640 (www.novatech.co.uk Soprano range) and whenever I switch from AC to the battery it lasts about 15-20mins then the battery just simply dies without warning and the battery is only at about 80-85%, I take the battery out and shake it a bit and stick it back in and get the same thing, it dies after about 15mins - I continue this cycle until the battery is completley dead, about 6 cycles.

Any idea's? Battery? Charger? Laptop? - I've already formatted it and done a clean install so its not power management related.

Oh, and its about 9 months old if that helps, surely a battery should last longer than that? Especially these new fancy lithium jobbies! :-P
