Is this a good price for the specs?

I recently purchased a HP Pavilion dv6z Quad Edition for 594$ with tax and shipping included. I has been a while since my last laptop purchase so I am not sure if this is a good deal. Thanks in advance. Here are the specs directly from the hp website:

Looks pretty good to me, though I haven't been in the market for a lappy in a while. I'd scrub Norton off there ASAP, along with all the other malware that shipped with it. What do you intend to use it for?

Yes I despise Norton haha. It will be used mainly for school and entertainment.
