Windows 7 and hard drive detection

I have three SATA hard drives. One I will install Window 7 on, but the other I have large amount of data on which I find would be too tedious backup it all up and my only external hard drive is out of commission. My question is after I install Windows 7 and plug in the HDD's with data on it, will it detect them properly? If not, what steps do I need to take make Win7 detect the HDD's and I don't lose/erase all my files? Thanks.

Yes windows 7 can read and write both the FAT 32/ or the NTFS file system.
So it should pick the data drive up, and let you read or write to the drive as normal.

Thanks. I forgot the mention that the drives are partitioned. Will that be a problem?
