Blue Screen After Windows Logo

When booting up my computer It goes through the detection and brings on the windows 98 logo screen then the screen goes blue.

The back ground screen is blue. It is the icons and start button that are not coming up.

well then its some driver or application cauzing your pc to freeze.

can try running msconfig to weed out programs... can also do selective boot and minimise the number of drivers loaded.

or you can always try a fresh install... something that occured far when i used win98.
