Ah ha! No.. it is not y new A64 4000+, bu my old Amiga 4000 i had in98,99 and 2000...

this computer is powered by a motorola 68060 CPU at 50 MHz..or is it 60..

I have an whooping 80 gigs of ram, and a SCSI hdd with 4.3 gigs and a Pionner DR966

well, still amazing that this old computter still be able to do something with so less ressources...

I'll continue having fun with it while my A64 is rendering a home video...

Those CPU were not too bad for their time. IIRC, the 68060 I'm on now
roughly equal an old P120. The os respond very good to my commands.

Anyway.. My home movie is almost finished and I soon be back to my current rig.

i just wanted to try to fire it up again, as it is now more than 4 years that
this thins was retired.

some funny facts... the psu is 145w. The hdd, a micropolis stigner run hot...
if the case was closed, i guess that it would run near 55degrees, as it must be near
50 right now. The original machine had a 68030 cpu on a daughter board wihich i
replaced later with the 060. The machine i have is dated 1993.. i then add a scsi
controller and a video card. these 3 add on were made by phae5, a german compagny
specialized in performance add-on for the amiga.

and i did my first video on this machine..well, it was only an intro for a TV show,
but a friend with a video toaster did the montage. video toastek was developed by newtek,
now known for their Lightwave 3d apps. Lightwave was bundled with the toaster and
used on tv shows babylon5 and seaquest dsv...
