XP Video

I watched the video on unlocking the Xp, and I must say bravo to those who made it. Its even worth paying for. That said a question or two, since I'm old and my eyes may deceive me.

On the first part, the masking is masking off both sides of the L1, to the "pits"? and the 2nd masking just prior to the silver being added, isolates the "broken" traces? And lastly, is each individual trace isolated separately prior to silver addition?

I think I understand your question... Each trace needs to be made individually since you can't "cross connect" the bridges or else it won't work. Is that your question?

By the way, on these XP chips, unlocking isn't as easy as it used to be. Lots of people end up scratching through the organic surface to the copper plate below and botch up the job. The bridges are very tiny, etc. I long for the days my pencil could unlock an Athlon!
