Hey

My computer has worked pretty much flawlessly for about 4-5 years now, but yesterday when i turned on my computer, it got past the first bios loading screen, and on the second one it showed an error: DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

I already tried to change the boot order, where i put HDD on 1st and cd-rom on 2nd option, before they were the opposite. 3rd one is disabled.

Windows 7 ultimate, 32bit
Gigabyte GA-P31-S3G
4gb ram, DDR2
Nvidia geforce 9600gt

If you need more specs, i can search them up.

IMHO, your HDD is overdue for retirement. Every time this has happened to me it was a HDD failure. You can try reformatting and reinstalling your OS if you don't mind losing the current content or you can get a new HDD or SSD (something I think is overdue) and install your OS on it. Then install the old HDD as a backup and if your lucky only the boot sector was damaged and your content can be migrated to the new storage device.
