Athlon MP / XP

Athlon MP or XP, what's the difference? I read a something that MP's are built for servers...

  1. MPs are for multi-processor systems. They have SMP enabled in the chip and are certified to work in dual CPU systems by Athlon. Also, they tend to be unlocked.

    Some XPs work in SMP systems, but not always.
