Was just hoping I could get a quick clarification here.

I just got an Athlon XP 1900+ (AGOGA) up and running on a Abit KX7-333R w/ Corsair XMS 2700 CL2 ram. I was toying around with BIOS settings (of course) and could not understand why the machine was not coming up when I raised the FSB even 1MHz above 133. I thought that it was possible to do this up to a point without unlocking the processor (as mine is not unlocked.) Am I wrong in that assumption? Must I unlock the processor to be able to raise the FSB even slightly, or am I missing something else?

I'm getting tired of clearing the CMOS ;)

but i think you should however be able to increase the FSB.
