i have tried all of these to no avail i have not added any hardware recently and have checked the ntfs volume with no errors and have disabled virus protection temporarily. that is why i made a topic so i could see if there are any other solutions to this problem.

uninstall your gfx driver and update to a new version. make sure you get the correct 1 for your o.s
after you uninstall run a reg cleaner to make sure you got any left overs. then reboot and install the fresh drivers.

I don't how you would uninstall video card drivers and not break your computer so I am just updating them. I completely forgot about the update they came out with. I will report back if the problem is fixed or not.

Did you check the RAM modules (take them out and then re-insert them one by one).

I will try but I haven't changed them since I got the computer and it's only like 4 months old.
