Hello,ihave installed windows 7 and lost access to my built in webcam. What can i do to get it back

Check the Acer website for any Windows Vista or Windows 7 drivers for the integrated webcam. If none exist, you're SOL.

Have you ensured all your drivers are up to date? Also, prior to migrating to Windows 7 did you run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor?

I ran the Windows 7 compatibility and the report said that everything would be compatible.

I now have just installed Windows 7 on a Acer Aspire One Netbook and cannot use my webcam any longer.

Microsoft and Acer should probably take better care ofensuring compatibility, or at least making an easy to use fix available in my opinion, instead of having to read dozens of forums for a solution?
