As you guys might know by now, (Oh, BTW, we kinda trimmed our trip to quite a bit shorter. All we may be doing is going out to Moncton/Halifax this weekend to do some shopping. I'll see what I can scrounge up in computer parts.) I'm gonna be building a computer this summer. It'll be my first, so I want to make it good. I'm having kinda a bad time trying to decide what case to get. (I didn't find a place for this thread anywhere else, and this is the section with the most "activity" so please excuse me for any *inconvenience*) I'd probably just prefer a "generic" case with a Enermax 350W PSU. Here's what I've narrowed it down to. I'd like you guys to take a look and tell me what you think:

Some case - <A HREF="http://www.canadacomputers.com/graphics/cases/9301_300W_MT.jpg" target="_new">Pic</A>
Aron Alto w/ window - <A HREF="http://www.canadacomputers.com/products/cases/full/aron_alto_tuning_s.jpg" target="_new">Pic</A>
Aron Minion IMT-4000 - <A HREF="http://www.canadacomputers.com/products/cases/full/aron_imt4000s_c.jpg" target="_new">Pic</A>
Aron Atlas w/ window - <A HREF="http://www.canadacomputers.com/products/cases/full/aron_atlas_tuning_s.jpg" target="_new">Pic</A>
Aron Atlas (I'm guessing looks like the previous one just without a window)
Aron Pro-Magic (black/ivory) - <A HREF="http://www.canadacomputers.com/products/cases/full/aron_promagic.jpg" target="_new">Pic</A>

I've never heard of the company "Aron" before, so I have no clue what they're like. I guess they look ok?? (My opinion.) What do you guys think? The prices range from $45CDN for the "some case" to $69CDN for the 2 with windows. I don't really care about the price. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Made a mistake with the urls for the pics. Updated now.

Hey Chuck whassup you back already...?

Did you see the Nobelesse case? Here is a link so you can check it out...

http://www.colorcase.com/nobmircas.html

It's pretty nice I seen it here and it's got quite a bit of drive space as well as fan's etc... with a front door so if you don't get all black components you can shut the door and maybe stagger the white / black drives also looks good.

Nope, I never even left. Instead we decided to only go to Halifax/Moncton this weekend. I'll be looking out for cheap parts. You're a Canadian IIRC? Where are you looking to get your stuff? I'd like to know some more Canadian store, but I've only looked at shoprbc.com, canadiancomputers.com, and ncix.com. Well, I don't really need such a fancy case, just one that'll look okay, and get me by.

NCIX.com looks pretty comparable to my list... Little bit more on most items but as a reference site it will be a good one to double check user reviewes etc...

Hmm, what was wrong with RB Computers? They really do ship everywhere now in the US and Canada areas btw.

Nothing, I just found the canadacomputers had lower prices (by a bit) and I didn't find any cases that were relatively cheap. This is a low-cost computer, so I'm trying to get quality, but cheap parts.

if you are going for quality but still going for economy, go for a plain case. Show off to your friends with the power not the aesthetics of your rig.

The more you run over a cat, the flatter it gets.

Yeah I'd agree with the other, cases that have beauty are just expensive, plain and simple. Some do have some nice look, but they are randomly chosen by the comp store when you buy. I've never seen another person with the same case as mine, yet they all are called Standard ATX cases.

Yeah RB has different prices sometimes, but IMO the CPUs are the strongest part with them. Here in Hull, to me they are the best cuz they are honest, simple and nice as well, call you "buddy" and slang words you say as well! And occasionally some rebates as well hehehe.
