Well, you should be getting PC2700 by now. Overclocking will use that. BTW are you just getting the 2.2GHz or the 2.26B? I'd suggest the 2.26B. Graphics card, depends on what you want to do. GF4 Ti4200 for some medium gamer, which will cost you about $180 for a 128MB version, $150 for the 64MB version. A Ti4400 for a high end video user, which should probably be ~$240 or so. I don't think a Ti4600 is needed. Those are all 1.5V AGP cards.
cpu: get the 2.26ghz (533fsb)
MB: i don't trust gigabyte at the momemt. but if it works for you thats fine.
RAM get Corsair XMS PC2700H
"my big questions;
what ram (pc2100 or better? cl2.0?)
get pc2700 from corsair
what graphics card (has to be 1.5v)?
I read about this and basicly all 1.5volt should be 4x. But you should call/email the vender to make sure it is 1.5volts. It'll destroy your board and card if you don't have a 1.5volt video card.
will i need a fan for my hdd?
that would be a good idea consider 7200RPM drives get really hot and can reduce hard drive life expectancy.
