looks good except for the mobo and ram. That motherboard has a few problems that i've heard of. I'd look at the new epox board, or MSI. Don't get corsair ram either, overhyped and doesn't perform well at all, i just returned mine to newegg in exchange for some samsung. So either pick up a stick of samsung or crucial, both better contenders than corsair. As for the GF4 i'd go with leadtek's line, very reliable and nice overclocking utility included with it, doesn't really matter in the end though, all a matter of extras and preference.

That's a good psu too, but i'd spend $20 more and get the one with voltage regulation for power spikes, i think the model number has a W in it and an FCA. Other than that everything looks good.

I know Samsung makes good RAM but I can't find it at CL2. For the mobo, it's a very hard choice... I really have no idea which one to choose. The only thing I can tell is that I won't overclock.

how about all you corsair believers take a trip down to the corsair forums and talk about how good your ram is. I've returned two corsair sticks that i've bought so far. The first one was a year ago because it came DOA. And then this year i returned it because it wouldn't even run agressively at 166mhz let alone the advertized 180. I plugged in pc2100 crucial ram and it actualy ran, while the corsair was shipped back to newegg. If you want something reliable and want to save the headache of RMAs then get anything other than corsair. I prefer not to play a game of luck when it comes to this type of thing. And by the way that samsung ram rated at cl 2.5 outperforms the corsair ram you mentioned in almost every review you will find, especially since you don't intend to overclock.

LoL. what are you talking about?!?

i have the Corsair XMS3200 CAS2.5 in front of me. i have received it yersterday. i am waiting my Antec TruePower 530 watts PSU to install it with my new KX7-333R & i intend to overclock it round 200Mhz/2.6-2.7v.
& of course this will work. you bet?

try to do that with your pc2100 crucial or some Samsung PC2700 cheaper memory. LoL
reminder: don't forget to burn in your Samsung before. LoL

moreover i haven't heard about Corsair more than Samsung RMAs (eg AMD_Man LoL)

Just so you see, Corsair is somewhat overrated. Less expensive Crucial PC2700 does about the same at stock and slightly better at overclocking.

But the silver heat spreader looks nice  doesn't it PAG? I bought one myself and I am awaiting my video card which I RMA'ed back because the fan broke off. I am crossing my fingers the ram and everything else works!

What's this?...ERROR ERROR ERROR...*CRASH & BURN*

I returned my RAM because it wouldn't handle 444MHz. Can yours handle that?
