Hi,
I have an NTSC miniDV camcorder and I want to burn a DVD that can be viewed on a PAL TV. Do I have to do anything special? I'm not sure if this is even an issue, I just know that there are different 'permissions' on DVD's, I'm not sure if this is a seperate issue (if it is, please address this obstacle too) so if a blockbuster movie is released on DVD in the US, someone in Britain is restricted from playing the US version (this was a problem when I had a laptop wit ha DVD player and could only change the region setting 4 times before it locked!). I'm using Windows Movie Maker 2.1 to do the video capture and editing!
Thanks Mick
YEa i think the only way is to change the region on the dvd player U can also make a google for hacks for ure dvd player
Or u need to use a different program to do the editing/burning likepinnacle or other...

thanks for the help guys. I'm still trying to figure out which $100 range video editing package to go with. Ive read that Pinnicle is very good but is really annoying since it nickle and dimes you for certain features you want to use. I see people with stability issues with pinnicle, roxio, nero, only one that seems stable is Premier express. Any comments?
umm yea I've had issues with pinnacle
Their software is kinda messed up in that sence
But thankfully I downloaded some updates and it seems to be working fine for the last few months
