Computer keeps freezing! Any ideas on how to diagnose?

Hi there.
Mi PC has mysteriously started freezing at random intervals.

There's no BSOD, so there's no crashdump for me to take a look at.

I checked system temperatures: they all look nominal.

I rolled my system back to a few days ago: no change.

I've tried examining the event logs: there isn't any consistent message right before the freeze.

Suggestions would be most appreciated as this is getting on my nerves!

go into control panel -> administrative Tools -> Event Viewer
Check that out and it should tell you why it's going wrong

Thanks for the tip...

I tried that, but there doesn't seem to be anything particular that repeats itself around the time of each freeze.
Am I missing some special Event Viewer technique for tracking down freeze issues?
