Deciding between two netbooks

So I'm set on one or the other of two refurbished 10" ASUS netbooks. One has a really great design, completely flat, and a body of brushed aluminum, but it comes with DDR2 667 memory - the other has an insignificantly faster processor, a plastic seashell design, but DDR3 1333 memory. I'll be immediately upgrading them to 2GB RAM, but I was wondering if there'll be a real enough difference in the RAM speeds to warrant getting the less desirable design. They're about the same price.

Any help would be appreciated - buying one on Tuesday!

You don't want a netbook, and you surely don't want a used netbook.

Pay a little more and get a full power laptop. It'll be 3x as fast and will come with a disk drive.

The problem without a disk drive, is if anything goes wrong, your screwed, you cannot even repair or re-install windows without a disk drive.

Agh. Yet another variable - if it wasn't for the 4-hour battery life I'd say sold. +1 for the tip, though.
