Trying to run programs from a .txt or .bat file

Hello all. I'm trying to make a windows .bat file to open some shortcuts on my desktop with one click. I can't get it to work however. running commands such as : Start test.txt : works. But running a command such as "C:\Users\Public\Sony Online Entertainment\Installed Games\PlanetSide 2\LaunchPad.exe" won't.

Any help would be appreciated. Also, Because I want to make multiple things start, How would I open programs like iTunes at the same time?

The problem with the example you gave could be the spaces in "Sony Online Entertainment" and "PlanetSide 2".
