Just installed this router (no problems) but would like a
little more range -- is there any way to add an antenna,
or replace the existing with a better antenna?

No, Rainer, you can't with Microsoft's products. Each has both an internal
and external antenna to balance the signal. If you're looking for slightly
more range, depending on your home environment, you might try moving the
channel up or down (sometimes 11 will give a better broadcast than the
default 6, or even Channel 1).

You can also make sure you're placing the base station away from a wall, and
definitely not near or on top of an electrical appliance (like sitting on
top of the CPU box). You can also try raising or lowering the base station
location.
