ok
a-xp1500 is a 1.33GHz
a-xp1600 is a 1.40GHz
1700? 1.46G
1800? 1.53G
1900? 1.60G
2000? 1.66G
2100? 1.73G
2200? 1.80G

one difference in the 2200 is that all the 1500 to 2100 are palomino cores, a 0.18micron CPU, while the 2200 is a t-bred, a 0.13micron core. comsumes lesser watts, but heat is still an issue here.

price per performance? the lower clocks are better. i`d say 1700 or 1800 is recommendable...

"Is Celeron good?"
"No. Celeron is bad."

i think he was asking more physically, the difference between the 2. Like is the 1800+ and 2100+ basicly the same chip except one is clocked higher?

"What kind of idiot are you?"
"I don't know, what kinds are there?"

It couldn't get any more physical!
He laid out the answer straight with the table of clock and PR conversion, and explained that only the XP2200 currently is 0.13m. No difference otherwise in performance whatsoever. Barton will change that, of course.
