How do I connect my Dell XPS laptop to a lcd projector

Have a new Dell XPS laptop. Went to plug in to an LCD, and there's no connection on the machine, but there are outputs in the rear. Cannot figure out from Dell what to buy as a connector

What is the exact model of the laptop and the projector?

Usually you can find a vga, HDMI or display port on the laptop. If the projector does not have that connection, get an adapter.
