Adding an SSD Drive

Hi - I have an HP Pavilion Elite m9030 uk Desktop PC running Windows7 32 bit Home Prem with 3Gb of Ram.
The PC runs fairly quickly in normal use but it does take a long time to 'boot' and shutdown.
I've tried cutting out various Start-up applications but this hasn't helped the 'boot' times. By a long time I only mean a couple of minutes but it seems like hours when sitting looking at the icons on the screen.
Would an SSD help. I was thinking of a Crucial V4 64Gb or 128Gb drive.
Thank you
TM

Go for it, boot times a fraction of present ones. I've been running my machine on a 64Gb Samsung SSD for almost a year now, and with some careful housekeeping still have 17Gb to spare. I only run certain Apps from it, like Photoshop etc.
Check this out before you install though

Thank you for your response. I'll have a read at the link you provided. Hmm - now if only I can find that spare Sata Power cable......
