Quartus Handheld Software Launches Quartus Forth for Palm Powered Smart
Mobile Devices at the PalmSource Mobile Summit & DevCon 2005

SAN JOSE, Calif., PalmSource Mobile Summit and DevCon, May 24, 2005 -
Quartus Handheld Software today announced version 2.0.0 of the Quartus
Forth on-board compiler for the Palm OS® platform. Quartus Forth
enables developers to create, compile, and test applications directly
on their Palm Powered™ mobile device or smartphone. Quartus Forth,
combined with Palm OS, provides a complete solution for application
developers.

Unlike many development tools, applications written using Quartus Forth
are native-code, can be distributed royalty-free, and require no
run-time libraries.
