How much difference in actual performance would I get upgrading my CPU from a 1.2Gig (oc @1.33Ghz) to a 1800+ on a Mobo with KT266a chipset... a lot, a little, 10%, 20%... any ideas ???

the real question is what are you going to do with your computer? If your going to play games or encode video/audio their will be a decrease in load time and framerate in some games. If not, their won't be a real difference

"What kind of idiot are you?"
"I don't know, what kinds are there?"

Save your money! ;)

unless you are limited to what you can do with that computer and is too slow. I wouldn't bother. Even still you got PCI slots. Need firewire simply buy a firewire card or what you need to do the things you want to do.

Save your money. Put the money in the bank and leave it there.
