I have a text file I want to copy to the SD card of my Treo 650. I have
installed and run several applications which claim to be able to handle
".txt" files, CardTXT, iSilo, PalmFiction, UniReader, and XtEdit.

However, whenever I sync my Treo, I still get the error message :

Failed to install lookup.txt to the SecureDigital (SD) Card
- No application on your handheld to open these files. If you have
recently installed such an application, please run that application and
then perform a HotSync operation.

Any suggestions? Thanks for your time and assistance.

Have you tried copying the file directly to the card with a card reader?
That is usually much faster and will get around the Hotsync app's refusal
to sync a Palm OS unsupported file format.
