Howfae can u go with an XP 1900?

how much can u overclock the xp1900, and is it worth it? i have abits kg7 mainboard. any ideas what else i can tweak apart from the cpu? what about my gf4ti4200? aand finally what size heatsink/fan should i get if i do overclock? any other cooling tips? cheers

How far it will go will depend on what kind of hsf you have. If you have a decent hsf you can prob push it to 2100 speeds by upping the fsb.

how far you go depends on 4 things...

make (stepping) of the CPU.
cpu cooling
motherboard and ram compatibility
luck

but allways remember, luck is the ultimate determining factor here.

u gotta be kidding me ?? Thats it ??

my XP1600+ does 2000+ speeds at defualt voltage....if i upped it a bit i know i can get 2200+ speeds easy....

so im sure a 1900+ should be able to get theoretical 2300+ speeds....
