If I can score 13,000 3Dmark2001 Points will that be enough to run DooM3?

What was used to program a programming program?

1) if you told me what your hardware was, i could probably get a hint if you could run doom 3 or not...
2) enough as in "minimum requirements"? or enough as in "playable settings"?
2) doom 3 is not out yet, and wont be out for months, so nobody would know for sure

ps, everybody is gonna tell you the same thing i did.

pps, pettytheft, your sig is my favorite and hilarious (good quote taken from nox, except modified), your response is not accurate

Yup, need hardware specs. Like a Ti4600 and a P4 2GHz should be more than enough to run at med details and 1024x768 at least.

Dude, please search the graphics forum, we get that question so often it's not fun to even read.
NOBODY can determine if it will be enough all right? NOBODY. The game is about 7 months away, and although Carmack stated the R300 is good to play it, -notice he said GOOD not PERFECT-, it is unknown whether we're talking about high res MAX detail gaming.
Again please search, because this has been asked too much and again, NOBODY can get an answer that is sure.
