Alright, I've got four computers set up in my apartment
total, one of which is mine. I utilise a MN-720 Wireless
Adapter, and I can't seem to stay connected. Sometimes my
connection will stay strong for a day or two, but more
often than not, I will be plagued by patches of
connectivity that last only 1-5 minutes. I checked all of
the troubleshooting "help" and got nothing. I have no
devices interfering, and resetting the router only helps
occasionally; I don't believe it's part of it.

This also occurs sometimes when I'm on campus at my
university, where they provide free wireless to students.

Neither my home network nor the Portland State network use
Wireless Security.

I'm running Windows 2000

Thanks!

What kinds of computers are you working with overall? You show signs of
this being the Notebook adapter, but you don't want to assume that's the
case without questioning the PCMCIA slot....unless you're working with
multiple notebooks. Have you got the ability to test on another notebook?

Ah yes, sorry, I am using the notebook adapter for my
laptop. I utilize one computer with this card and
occasionally bring it to school. Sometimes it does run
perfectly...

I may be able to test it on a housemate's notebook. Does
it matter if she's using a different computer or OS?
Should I install the software and test it out then?

Thanks :)

What operating system (but no it really shouldn't matter).

I'd see how that test goes...and if they have one to loan you, see how that
performs.
