Windows firewall turns off automatically

Hello, Windows Firewall automatically turns itself off in Windows 7. If I manually turn it back on, I am unable to access the internet. I reboot and within minutes the firewall is off again. I've ran Avast Pro and Microsoft's malicious software program to scan all files without finding anything. I am connected securely via wireless to the internet.

Try restarting your computer and the restoring default settings on your Windows Firewall - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Restore-Windows-Firewall-settings

Look in Event Viewer for any events related to Windows Firewall. If it is stopping on it's own there is most likely something logged there about it.

So long as you have only one firewall installed, this shouldn't happen and could be caused by malware. The scans you've run aren't quite enough and I suggest you go to http://www.malwarebytes.org and download MalwareBytes. Install it, let it update itself and when you restart it, run the Quick Scan. Let it deal with anything it finds then restart your computer. Go back in and run the Full scan and repeat the process. Finally, go in again and click the Logs tab then please copy and paste them into Notepad documents and post them back here so posters can see what they found and decide if further action is necessary.
