which amd chips work duel?

I know the older thunderbirds do but up to what speed? or do the first gen of xp's too? building a duelie.. just wondering?

heh... bit of a minefield really.
ive seen mixed reports, generally the older XP and Duron CPU's work as duallies, the new ones from XP2000+ and above probably not.
bit of a crapshoot really.

YOu can make an MP from an XP by joining certain bridges.

Hey Daniel.........u wouldnt happen to have a son by the name of Phil would you ?

as for Dualies......All Duron's shoudl work...and Thunderbirds should work.......and a lot of XP's will even work.....if not, liek Crashman said, u gotta connect a bridge on the CPU....not that difficult....however....if u wanna overclock also...ur most likely better off with MP's...as there rated for Dual use AND come unlocked already =)
