New York police launch Facebook perp watch unit

The New York City police department has created a new juvenile justice unit intent on tracking people who discuss criminal activities on social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace.

I am sure they must have solved all other criminal cases.

The police just want to better understand people.

Besides its not like there are already countries out there that have the police keep an eye on facebook is it?
