I am running a p3 850mhz 100FBS on a ABIT BH6 ver 1.1. I tired raising the FSB to 110mhz and I am able to get a speed of 933mhz, Any higher and my system locks up. 933mhz is totally stable but I am woundering if I can OC the cpu to 1gig without changing the FSB is this possible? thanks for any info

no. every intel cpu since 300mhz or so is multiplier locked. only way to overclock is to raise the FSB. and you are stuck at 110.

enjoy 933. its not bad.

The CPU is probably limited to around 980MHz as most were. To get that high, you'll probably need to change the core voltage. You'd be better off with a 700, as 933 comes to the 700 at 133MHz FSB, which can allow PCI devices to run at the proper 33MHz on most systems, and provides much better bandwidth.
