When I insert the Microsoft Setup Broadband CD it pops up
a compatability issue with Windows XP. I am trying to
reinstall a base station on a different computer, but
when I install it I lose connection to the internet. It
messes things up so bad that I have to do a system
restore. Can anyone help?

There is NO need to install the software if you are setting up the router in
Windows XP.

However, if for whatever reason, you insist on using it, download the update
from here
