Any Gentoo users out there?

Hey guys.. just wondering if nyone out here is running gentoo. and if so is it a stable release?... looks like a pain to configure...

If I weren't on a 56k modem, I'd try Gentoo out.
But everyone I know that has tried it says they love it, and they say their portage system is great too.

Since I've never tried it myself, I'm not sure how hard/easy it is to configure. Oh, and they are on a stable relase candidate, if that's what you mean.
